December 2-14 is the 10th Annual Festival of Trees. Held at the Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens, this festival uses the theme “Celebrating Design Through the Decades.” Professionals and volunteers worked together to decorate the trees and create a welcoming environment. Each tree features a theme built around a story that carries over to the next tree. Guests are welcome to dress in period costumes and stop by for caroling and other activities.

Armory Art Center

Donuts With Santa
December 10 is a sweet treat for kids who want to meet and greet Santa. Palm Beach County officials opened Donuts With Santa at the Jupiter Community Center to give kids a chance to talk with Santa, tell him what they want for Christmas, and play with other children. Santa shares the spotlight with the kids from 10 am to late in the afternoon.

New Years at Guanabanas
One of the top New Year’s events in Jupiter is the celebration at Guanabanas. This popular party paradise will host a lively festivity which features a performance by Spred the Dub. The party starts at 9 pm and runs until the late night hours. However, only visitors aged 21 and up will be allowed in the venue.
Guanabanas doesn’t have a cover charge on New Year’s Eve.

Breakfast With Santa
Instead of taking your kids to meet Santa at a local mall, let them celebrate with the Christmas icon at the Palm Beach Zoo. Santa will be at the zoo on December 17, 18 and 24. In addition to letting kids sit on his lap and go over their wish lists, the zoo will also offer a breakfast buffet that features hot and cold dishes for all guests. Kids can also meet Mrs. Claus and see some of the zoo’s animals up close. Tickets are available online for both members and non-members of the zoo’s conservation society.

The Heavy Pets Holiday Ball
December events in Palm Beach County include The Heavy Pets Holiday Ball. This live show will commence at 9:30 pm on December 10 and finish around 12:30 at the Crest Theater—an Old School Square. This benefit concert aims to raise money for Toys for Tots and Caring Kitchen. The doors open at 8 pm to give guests ample time to find the best spot in the venue. Though the founders recommend that guests dress for the event, you can wear anything you would like.

At the Palm Beach County Convention Center, December 17 marks the day for Diamond’s Christmas Championship, a competition that brings some of the best cheerleaders from the region and state to southern Florida. Sunny 107.9’s Holiday Choir Sing-Off
Local radio station 107.9 will host one of the best holiday events that Palm Beach County residents can attend on December 16 at the Harbourside Place. Five local choirs will sing holiday songs and compete in a sing-off to see which group is the best. The winning team will walk away with a $1,750 cash prize. The sing-off, which runs from 7 pm to 9 pm, is open to the public. No fees will be collected for entrance.
