Smoked Fish Dip
Ingredients
- ½ pound smoked fish, skinless
- 2 Tbs sour cream or Greek yogurt
- 4 oz. plain cream cheese
- 1 tsp horseradish sauce
- 1 Tbs roasted red pepper, minced
- ¼ tsp hoisin sauce
- 1 tsp lemon juice (freshly squeezed is best)
- Pinch of salt
- Black pepper, to taste
- Other spices optional
Directions
In a large mixing bowl, flake smoked fish. Add sour cream, cream cheese, horseradish sauce, peppers, hoisin sauce and lemon juice. Use a hand mixer (or a burly arm) to beat until thoroughly combined (about 2 minutes). Season with salt and pepper to taste – add your favorite spices as necessary. Refrigerate. Serve with crackers or veggies.
